Palexpo, Geneva's exhibition and convention centre, offers 106,000 m2 of interconnected event space close to Geneva international airport and the city's rail station. Palexpo is also easily accessible by motorway from the rest of Switzerland as well as from France, Italy and Germany, and offers on-site parking for 2,800 vehicles.
The centre's dynamic team offers a broad range of services and its seven halls host exhibitions, conventions, shows and sporting events continuously throughout the year. Palexpo also provides a high-quality catering service offering a wide choice of meals at competitive prices.
Since it first opened in 1981, Palexpo has continued to modernise its infrastructure and expand the range of services it offers. It currently hosts the Geneva International Motor Show, Davis Cup tennis, the Concours hippique international de Genève (CHI) international showjumping event and the Supercross, as well as a number of trade shows such as the watch industry's Salon international de la haute horlogerie (SIHH), Vitafoods (for the European agrifood sector), INDEX (for the non-woven materials industry) and EPHJ-EPMT-SMT (for watch-making subcontractors and microtechnologies).
Thanks to the high level of service it offers, Palexpo, Geneva's exhibition and convention centre, is an international venue for sporting, economic and cultural shows and events. It hosts exhibitions, conventions, conferences, product launches and more in all business sectors (industry, services, culture, sport, leisure, etc.) as well as its own events within the context of its public-service role.
Since the majority stake in Palexpo is owned by the Canton of Geneva, the centre is used to serve the community. It aims to generate economic and media benefits for the city of Geneva and for the wider region, and to promote Geneva's economy. Palexpo does not receive any government subsidy.
We want to make Palexpo a meeting and conference venue which offers event hosts a unique experience.
