How to optimize your electricity order?
At Palexpo, energy is necessarily sustainable and renewable. You can choose between purely hydraulic energy (blue) or energy from renewable sources (green, Nature made star certified) for power supplies of up to 10 Kw. During an exhibition, electricians are always on hand, or can be reached via a standby service.
What’s more, we have enough electrical power to cover all your needs. So, if you order less than you need, an electrician will come and inform you, agree with you on the extra power required and make the addition. In any case, you won’t be restricted for the rest of your show.
In addition to a standard electrical service, Palexpo also offers installation of all the household appliances required for a stand, so you don’t have to worry about the logistics of transport. Laundry products are included, and in the event of a breakdown, an identical replacement can be provided very quickly from our stocks located in the building. We also offer stand-mounted air conditioning, static lighting and telematics (wifi, cable network). All these services are backed up by an after-sales and standby service.
For power supplies below 10 Kw, here are two possible scenarios:
– For your lights, add up the wattages. They operate at maximum power almost all the time. You’ll usually find this information on your stand description.
– For other needs, add up the wattages
(a label can be found on the back of the device) and add a margin of around 30% to the total. This will ensure that all your appliances
at full power at the same time. For example (on average): Nespresso coffee machine = 1.5 Kw, laptop PC = 100 w, new-generation LCD screen = 100 w, cell phone recharger = 100 w, 110lt fridge.
– Above 10 Kw, enlist the help of a professional electrician to determine your needs and the most economical way of supplying them. The distribution of power has a significant impact on the total bill. Consulting fees will cost you less than a non-optimized installation. Not to mention that cable routing may or may not involve the use of a podium, which increases the total cost. Please note that Palexpo’s electrical engineer can be commissioned to design your installation in the best possible way.
Billing
At less than 10 Kw, energy is included on a flat-rate basis and sold per day. It’s a good idea to order the right number of days, depending on your real needs (how many days of set-up? + Expo + how many days of dismantling?).
At more than 10 Kw, the invoice includes: power, meter, panel and consumption. In addition to the initial power supply, Palexpo’s electricity department is happy to take care of distribution, although this part is not subject to an exclusive contract. Please note that installations carried out by us benefit from our after-sales and standby services. All installations are automatically checked by an independent body (whether carried out by us or by someone else).
