Every four years, on the occasion of the Global Refugee Forum, States and other actors come together to share good practices and contribute with financial support, technical expertise and policy changes to help reach the goals of the Global Compact on Refugees. These contributions are key to transforming the aspirations of the Compact into positive changes in the lives of refugees.

The Global Refugee Forum 2023 will provide an opportunity to build on the significant progress made by governments and other stakeholders towards the implementation of pledges and initiatives announced since the first Forum that took place in 2019.
